
2025. aasta kooslugemise päeva raamatuks on valitud Jaan Rannapi „Nublu“. Raamatu peategelaseks on valkjas, pruunide laikudega koerake Nublu, kes võib omaks nimetada saba, millega ulatub maad piitsutama. Ta eksib juhuslikult tuletõrjemajja ning temast saab pritsimeeste lemmik ja tubli tuletõrjekoer. Veel tegutsevad loos tuletõrjujad Mustpea ja Valgemaa ning paljud teised toredad tegelased.
Every year, on January 30th we celebrate Estonian Literature Day, which also happens to be be the birthday of writer Anton Hansen Tammsaare. This year marks the 147th anniversary of Tammsaare’s birth. Since 2023, January 30th has been a national holiday and flag day. To celebrate this day, the Estonian Children’s Literature Center and the Finnish Tuglase Selts invite everyone from around the world to read together.
On January 28th, 2025 the Toronto Estonian Supplementary School will be celebrating Estonian Literature Day by reading a story together.
For 2025, “NUBLU” has been chosen for Reading Together Day. The main character of the book is Nublu, a white dog with brown spots and a long tail that whips the ground as he walks. Read about Nublu as he accidentally wanders into a fire station and becomes a favorite with the firemen and an outstanding fire dog.
